And then it was Friday...
My Dearest Chica,
This is the weekend of birthdays! Oh happy that there is something a little bit more pleasant to celebrate!! I can't wait to see you. I am looking forward to seeing you again!
I hope that your Friday is going well.
I woke up at 4:30 with all intentions of running... Oh, who am I kidding? I went to bed last night with all intentions of running at 4:30 this morning. But then I woke up and it was pouring and the sound was so pleasant and Jackie was all cuddly.... how could I say no to that? I really miss running and need to get back into it. I miss the freedom of thinking it gave me. Nothing to do but run and think. It's very awesome. I've been so tired lately, too. I think the stress is getting to me far too much. (more like I'm letting the stress get to me far too much!) I worry that if I do go for a run that I might not be able to get through the day and the drive home. I already feel like napping so early in the workday. Then the drive home gets a little treacherous. One hour one way. For my closer district. Which I only go to on Fridays. The other district is over an hour. Even if I cruise along the back roads.
It was great when I did finally wake up. I felt exhausted and Jacks decided he should flap his ears against my face. OUCH! But damn, was it cute. Oh, btw, last night Jack-Jack was standing on the couch in my spot looking at me in the other room. Dbag was trying hard as he might to get Jackie's attention and couldn't! I sort of felt bad for dbag, but then realized he's a total jerk to me and is trying to take my babies away from me. It was comforting to know that Jack is a momma's boy. As well as the rest of the crew now. Even Toga! I carry her around the house for a little bit every morning and after I come in the house after work. I typically get home, open the door, let the dogs out and stay outside until they are ready to come in. Or when I make them come in. Then we play inside for awhile. I try to carry Toga around while kicking around their toys which they chase. It's like doing triple duty, because at the same time I'm trying to keep the other kitties occupied. I love having 6 furbabies, but it's a lot of work. I look forward to the days when I'm not a single parent! If you catch my drift....
I think I've eaten a whole tree worth of apples in the last two weeks. Along with enough caramel sauce to fill the Grand Canyon. I'm happy with my life choices here. :D
zzzz I feel ready for a nap....
Love,
Dude
