Chica & Dude's Love Letters

Hey it's me!   Just wanted to write and say hi! Well I wanted to do more then that. I wanted to vent, just about life mostly. Wow this week has been crazy. Today is the first day we haven't had to run somewhere for something. Not that it's a bad thing to be busy but it's been so busy. And every night Josh gets home and just *has to* work on something. And then ends up getting cranky because he doesn't get as far as he wants. And the because he pushes himself he feels run down, because unlike everyone else he refused to rest when he was sick. It's really getting rather old for me. I love that he wants to do things, and keep busy and improve the house. But the constant cranky-ness and complaining. I'm so over it. My mom was supposed to come last weekend, and then bailed cause we were all sick. So we rescheduled for the weekend of the 20th. Not that I'm looking forward to it, but what can I do? My Dearest Chica,      I hope you are feeling better. It's great that Carter is sharing, because sharing is caring... He cares so much about you, he gave you and the family his 48hr bug.      I'm at St. Regis Falls today (because it's Friday!). I am heading out for the Timothy Murphy 10k today. Heading all the way out to Schoharie for the hotel. The race is in Middleburgh. Well, it ends up in Middleburgh.. It starts in a smaller town of Fultonham at the Max V. Shaul State Park. Boom, I just found the website . Okay, it's less of a website and more of the sign-up page. It's something at least.     I've been trying to wander around the school more often while I'm here, to get accustomed to both the district and the layout (which is easy because it's a giant rectangle..) and where classrooms are located. My Dearest Chica,  This is the weekend of birthdays! Oh happy that there is something a little bit more pleasant to celebrate!! I can't wait to see you. I am looking forward to seeing you again!   I hope that your Friday is going well.  I woke up at 4:30 with all intentions of running... Oh, who am I kidding? I went to bed last night with all intentions of running at 4:30 this morning. But then I woke up and it was pouring and the sound was so pleasant and Jackie was all cuddly.... how could I say no to that? I really miss running and need to get back into it.  I miss the freedom of thinking it gave me. Nothing to do but run and think. It's very awesome. I've been so tired lately, too. I think the stress is getting to me far too much. (more like I'm letting  the stress get to me far too much!) I worry that if I do go for a run that I might not be able to get through the day and the drive home. I already feel like napping so early in the workday. Then ...

Dear Chica:  I'm a mad Blogger now. Look at my style. ;) Putting in pictures and all that good stuff. I hope your Tuesday is going better than last Tuesday. This past week has SUCKED! Majorly. I'm glad to be back at work though and have my minds off all the terrible crap that has gone on.  I am working on lesson plans for Internet Safety and the cool part is.... GOOGLE has rescued me. They have lessons already made that follow ISTE standards, with Google Slides and fun activities. I'm going to augment the lesson with a couple of videos. I have a scare-tactic video for kids if they seem to not be listening or paying attention. It isn't as scary as some of the others, but it delves into how a predator stalks kids and how easy it is for someone to pick up a child.... Awful. I can't wait to see you on Saturday. It will be so much fun. We really need to find that hole in the ground and hide out with some coffee. Josh can join us, this time. Only because, well ...

Hey Dude--   You went all out with the font huh? That was pretty awesome. Kept me guessing right up to the end. :D :D I hope you had an awesome day even though you had to work late and what not. It's cold and damp here, it's a nice change but I'm not ready for it to be a full time thing you know? But we're supposed to be back in the 80's by the weekend so I will just enjoy it while it lasts I guess. We didn't do a whole lot today. I had to wait for the delivery guy to come get the broken woodstove, and by the time he did it was raining like crazy so we just stayed home and the kids did homeschool. Tomorrow we are going to be out and about a bit. Going to the bank, the library, grocery shopping and to Target. Yay for shopping. (and coffee) Not too much else going on today. Dear Chica,      As I sit here waiting for my car's oil to be changed, I can think of nothing better to do than to write you a lovely love letter. (That's right, I also work for the department of redundancy department...)  I've already got distracted and changed the font color three times and accidentally highlighted everything in neon pink. Thank God for ctrl+z! I wonder why they chose the letter z....  Anyway, I hope your day is going super fantastic.  It is damn cold out. But it's not too bad, unless you're my feet, then they are telling me it's HELL OUT THERE AND GOD DAMMIT IT'S COLDER THAN THE ARCTIC. My feet tend to yell everything, they are "overly emotional."  Look, a new font color! I can't really tell what the color is like because I  both  have a filter on my computer to help ward off migraines and I am sitting by a window, so there is a mega glare.  I just found the font button... This is going to be a grand ole time!...

Dude--  So I just made the most amazing chocolate chip cookies! (Because I found out tomorrow is National Chocolate Chip Cookies day, yay peer pressure) I will link the recipe is the bottom of this post. I hope you are having an great Friday, even though you are at work. And we no longer work at Levitt together. Although blogging with you is kind of like working at Levitt. I feel like we did a lot of text communication sitting right next to each other! :D :D It was AWESOME!!! I'll just pretend you're here... Paper JAM!!
