And like magic, it was Friday again!

My Dearest Chica,
I hope you are feeling better. It's great that Carter is sharing, because sharing is caring... He cares so much about you, he gave you and the family his 48hr bug.
I'm at St. Regis Falls today (because it's Friday!). I am heading out for the Timothy Murphy 10k today. Heading all the way out to Schoharie for the hotel. The race is in Middleburgh. Well, it ends up in Middleburgh.. It starts in a smaller town of Fultonham at the Max V. Shaul State Park. Boom, I just found the website. Okay, it's less of a website and more of the sign-up page. It's something at least.
I've been trying to wander around the school more often while I'm here, to get accustomed to both the district and the layout (which is easy because it's a giant rectangle..) and where classrooms are located. I'm also hoping that the teachers will see me and be like, "oh hey! can you help me with this?" or at least realize I'm here. I'm so exhausted mentally by the end of the week that Fridays are a little tough to switch into a different district. Everyone is so nice here, though. Everyone is super nice at Brushton as well.  As I was patrolling the halls today I stopped by one of the classrooms to look at the kids' work on the wall (they really like to post student work in the hallways, it's awesome!). The title was "If I had discovered America..." and the one that caught my eye started "It would have been called unicorn land." That kid right there has her head on straight. She's got the right view for life, if you ask me. Then after I was walking away in a daze about how damn awesome that child was... I met a couple of teachers and a kid coming out of a classroom. His name was Xavier and he likes to chew on his sweater neck. I learned this information by observation. The sweater part. The name part I learned by listening. Wow, what a great life lesson there... observe and listen. I'm so deep and philosophical!

Hey, when you get a chance and want to have some fun, check out some ted talks by James Veitch.

Trick is that you have to actually WATCH him as he talks. And his slideshow behind him. Hilarious presenter in all the right ways.

The district here really likes to display stuff on the walls. This is going to make my job a little bit more difficult. I want to take away from that unintentionally as I try to shift them to more electronic methods rather than paper and glue bulletin boards... I wonder if there is a way to do both? If you have any ideas, let me know. The posters are pretty awesome, too. So there would be a lot lost on sharing throughout the school. Yes, there are ways to share electronically, but these are literally available to anyone who walks the halls. Whereas sharing would be more exclusive... hmmm.. dilemma!

I got bored and inserted a photo, which turned out to not be a photo at all. When I clicked to insert a photo, one of the options was "from your phone." Alert!! but also cool. I think maybe it's the mobile photos or something when I sync to google? Who knows for certain?

I love you and I miss you a lot!!!

I have a happy sauce playlist on youtube if you are ever feeling down. I think it's public, but i'm not sure. It's called "happy sauce." I am also making a channel with all my furbaby videos on it.

Right now the song "Classic" by some band I don't know the name of is playing. It's so hard not to dance to the good upbeat music. Have you watched the Spongebob movie? Not the one with Antonio Banderas, but the original movie.  There's a scene where they can't sing or dance to a song... I feel like that a lot in my life. I always cave. Can't stop my dance moves!!!

My migraine is doing much better. Back down to cold temperatures today. My head likes that. 36, feels like 32, when I woke up. But must have been colder because there was ice on my windshield. Not much, but enough that my wipers made that grating scratchy sound. My car read 31 at the coldest point on my travel to work.

Okay, I miss you!! I love you!! Time for me to go!!
